Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN "Oceana"

Taking inspiration from the Navy blue overall, a work uniform worn by pilots when carrying out arduous tasks aboard aircraft carriers, “Oceana” complements IWC’s colored ceramic portfolio. Colored ceramics result from a sophisticated manufacturing process in which zirconium oxide is mixed with other metallic oxides. Because the color changes during the sintering process, it takes countless trials and a lot of experience to determine the right blend of raw materials. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Oceana combines a blue ceramic case with a blue dial and a matching blue rubber strap with a denim finish textile inlay. The crown,pushers and case back are made of lightweight titanium. Inside the easy-to-wear 41-millimetre case, the IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre is at work. The chronograph movement in classic column-wheel design also features a day and date display at 3 o’clock. A soft-iron inner case shields the movement from the effects of magnetic fields.
